Kollaboration, a company that helps empower and connect API artists and leaders to promote diverse representation in media, will launch its first leadership conference, EMPOWER, on Aug. 29 at the Japanese American National Museum in Los Angeles.
The ultimate goal for this conference is to promote even more diverse representation in media for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. The conference will be held from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and admission will vary. Scheduled speakers and panelists will include artists and leaders who are “at the top of their game,” sharing their thoughts and giving advice on an array of topics like media production. The conference will also include interactive workshops and mentorship office hours to help those wanting to get into the industry.
